“An Ode to a DAMNed Man” displays the shared experiences of Black men “damned” by the violent social structures that constrict them into hyper-masculine and aggressive tropes. Inspired by Kendrick Lamar’s latest album, this art exhibit and film screening breaks down the complexities of masculinity, sexuality and vulnerability through a documentary of interviews and series of photography from young Black men.
