Some topics may include: Blacks Empowering Economic Progression, The influence of Black women rappers, and Modern Day Dating. Our key objectives are to listen, excite, converse, interact, and inform through engaging topic discussions. Starting on time is imperative!
Doors open at 8:30pm, and we will promptly begin discussion at 9:30pm and end at 11:00pm.
After the discussion, we will have our mixer portion to create a space for networking, socializing, and jamming to musical sounds by DJ SpaceJam!!

The Escape Issue show, produced in collaboration with The California Sunday Magazine, will feature stories about escapes big and small, daring and mundane, physical and mental, from comedians Jordan Carlos (HBO’s Divorce; Black Mirror) and Chris Duffy (Wyatt Cenac's Problem Areas); musician Left at London; poet Sarah Kay (Project VOICE); and more.
